Why is Emu Oil so Effective?

Emu oil is almost 100% triglyceride lipid. Triglycerides (a type of fatty compound) are abundant in human skin lipids, making the fatty acids in human skin very similar to emu oil, thus improving absorption of emu oil into human skin. It is high in oleic acid, which increases its ability to carry compounds through the skin. It does not contain phospholipids, as many petroleum based lotions do. This absence of phospholipids makes emu oil highly penetrating and allows it to absorb through the skin more easily.

Emu Oil contains 22 essential fatty acids, including Omega 3, 6, and 9.
